As a Consultant at Arthur D. Little, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading functional and industry professionals, leveraging your skills and experience to drive meaningful change for our clients.

You will likely hybrid-work across client locations internationally, in both our UK offices, and from your home. Some national and international travel will be required to support project delivery, winning new work and attending our global training programmes.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our Global Risk and Resilience team while further developing your own career.

As a Consultant in Arthur D. Little's Global Risk and Resilience team, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities, including:

  • Actively engaging with clients to understand their unique needs, challenges, and objectives, and translating these insights into compelling proposals that demonstrate our ability to deliver value-added solutions.
  • Leveraging your expertise and problem-solving skills to provide clear, focused guidance to your team, ensuring the successful structuring and resolution of complex client issues.
  • Effectively managing project workloads and priorities, while mentoring and coaching junior colleagues to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborating closely with Partners and Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with client expectations.
  • Proactively participating in business development initiatives to expand our practice, working alongside Principals, Associate Directors, and Partners in our UK and international offices to identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with clients and stakeholders beyond project assignments, fostering trust and laying the groundwork for future engagements.
  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of the Risk and Resilience team's intellectual capital, sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues across the firm.
  • Collaborating with other industry practices across Arthur D. Little’s offices, promoting cross-functional knowledge sharing and driving innovation in our service offerings.

To excel in this highly competitive role at Arthur D. Little, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive risk management experience across a broad range of domains, including enterprise risk management, safety and assurance, and organisational resilience, preferably within a consulting environment (both delivery and sales support).

  • In-depth knowledge of at least one industry sector, such as Travel & Transport, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Energy & Utilities, Automotive or Manufacturing with the ability to apply this expertise to diverse risk and resilience challenges.
  • A proven track record of high performance and significant achievements in previous positions, demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide and inspire teams towards innovative solutions and successful outcomes.
  • A collaborative mindset, fostering a positive team environment while also demonstrating the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with a willingness to break new ground, embrace challenges, and take calculated risks in a dynamic working environment.

  • Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in an additional language, such as Arabic, Cantonese, French, or Spanish, is a significant advantage.

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally for client meetings and engagements, showcasing a commitment to delivering exceptional service and fostering lasting relationships.
